We make scheduling straightforward. Contact our Lenexa team, tell us about your vehicles and let us know when you need them back. We will give you clear direction and work with you to find a suitable time. We understand that a vehicle in the shop may mean a vehicle away from customers, crews or deliveries, so timely turnaround matters to us.

Getting you back on the road and delivering great work go together. We focus on careful preparation, precise installation and a clean finish, with the goal of doing the project right the first time. Our team will discuss the expected timing for your specific job so you can plan around it and feel confident about the work your business is putting on display.

Questions & Answers

Commercial Wrap FAQ

What is the difference between a commercial wrap and a personal color change?

A commercial wrap is designed to identify and support a business; a color-change wrap is primarily selected to change the appearance of a personal vehicle. That difference changes the entire design process. Commercial work must prioritize company recognition, service clarity, legibility at distance, useful contact information and repeatability across future vehicles. A color-change project is usually evaluated around finish, coverage, vehicle condition and appearance.

The materials may share installation principles, but the success criteria are not the same. A commercial vehicle should communicate quickly in motion and at a jobsite without becoming visually crowded. A color-change vehicle should achieve the approved appearance without being mistaken for a business-signage system.

How do you ensure the wrap layout looks right on my specific vehicle?

We use accurate digital vehicle templates to build out your layout. You will receive complete digital mockups showing exactly how the branding scales on your specific vehicle model before we print.

Can you use our existing logo or help prepare our brand files?

Usually, but the existing artwork must be reviewed before it is treated as production-ready. A logo that looks acceptable on a website or business card may not scale cleanly across a truck or trailer. Vector artwork is generally the most useful starting point because it can be enlarged without the edge degradation common in screenshots or small raster files. Colors, typefaces and alternate logo versions also need to be identified so the vehicle proof reflects the actual brand.

If the files are incomplete, the team will explain what must be corrected or recreated before final proof approval. Production should begin only from artwork that can support the intended size and accurately represent the brand.

How long will a commercial vehicle wrap stay vibrant?

There is no responsible universal lifespan that applies to every vehicle and every wrap. Service life is affected by the selected film system, vehicle finish, surface preparation, installation, sun and weather exposure, storage, road use, washing, edge condition and ongoing care. Horizontal surfaces and heavily exposed areas may age differently from protected vertical panels.

The useful question is not only “How many years will it last?” but “What system is being proposed for this vehicle, how will the vehicle be used and what care expectations apply?” Final material and warranty statements come from the exact approved product and project terms.

Can I update just my phone number or list of services later?

Yes. Because commercial wraps are designed in panel grids, we can cleanly remove and replace standalone sections like updated numbers, logos, or web URLs without wrapping the entire vehicle again.

Do I need to clean the vehicle before dropping it off?

Yes, the vehicle must be clean and free of heavy mud or grease. Our team will perform a final chemical decontamination process to guarantee flawless material adhesion.

Are commercial vehicle wraps tax-deductible for my business?

In most situations, commercial graphics and mobile advertising wraps qualify as legitimate business marketing expenses. Consult your tax professional for details.

Can graphics be removed later?

Often, but removal results depend on the film, its age, exposure, adhesive condition, installation history and the paint beneath it. Original factory paint in good condition may respond differently from repainted panels, body repairs, failing clear coat or previously damaged surfaces. Removal can also reveal color differences between covered and uncovered paint after years of exposure.

The existing finish and known repairs should be reviewed before installation. Perfect paint, invisible removal or one universal removal process cannot be guaranteed without knowing the actual vehicle and film history. Businesses planning future rebranding should also preserve production files and replacement history so the next change can be evaluated accurately.

What information should a commercial wrap communicate?

The vehicle should communicate the business identity first, the service category second and only the most useful supporting information after that. A person seeing the vehicle in traffic may have only a few seconds. Too many service lines, multiple phone numbers, long URLs, badges or small claims can weaken the company name instead of strengthening it.

The final hierarchy depends on how the vehicle is used, the viewing distance, the body style and what action a prospective customer should remember. The team reviews side and rear views separately and keeps essential information away from hardware, seams and low-visibility areas.

Should I choose a full wrap, partial wrap or focused graphics?

Choose based on the business goal, the vehicle's existing color, the available surfaces and the amount of brand control needed. A full wrap offers the broadest transformation. A partial wrap uses selected printed coverage together with exposed paint. Focused graphics and decals concentrate on logos, lettering and identifiers without changing most of the vehicle.

None of the three is automatically more professional. The quality comes from contrast, hierarchy, vehicle-specific placement and consistency with the business brand. The team compares the options on the actual vehicle rather than using coverage percentage as the only decision.

Plan Your Fleet Project

Wraps and Graphics for One Work Vehicle or a Growing Fleet

Start with the vehicles you have, the message customers need to see and the time each vehicle can be off the road. Our Lenexa team can help you compare coverage for your Kansas City business.

01

Work Vans and Pickups

A full wrap offers broad coverage; a partial wrap combines printed graphics with the existing paint color. Door logos, lettering and contact details can suit a simpler brief. Vehicle photos help us account for windows, handles, body lines and existing graphics.

02

Box Trucks and Trailers

Send the vehicle dimensions and photos of each side, including doors, rivets and any damaged surfaces. Large panels offer room for clear branding, but the surface and construction affect preparation and installation. We will confirm suitability and shop requirements before scheduling.

03

Small Fleets of 1–5 Vehicles

You can plan a consistent look without updating every vehicle at once. Share the makes, models and vehicle count, then identify which units can be available first. Ask about a staged schedule and how the design can adapt when you add another vehicle.

04

Compare the Complete Quote

Cost and shop time depend on coverage, design preparation, vehicle size, surface condition and removal of old graphics. Ask which film and laminate are specified, how to care for them, and what written manufacturer and installation coverage applies to your particular project.

What to Include in Your Quote Request

Include the vehicle count, year, make and model; the coverage you want; whether you have a logo or finished artwork; any existing graphics; and your preferred completion date. For trucks and trailers, include dimensions. Mention availability limits so the schedule can be discussed before you commit.

What Wrap Customers Say

Google Review

Best commercial vehicle wrap company in Kansas City. I used a different wrap company for 20 years. They sold to a poorly ran company. So, I needed to find a new wrap company for our trucks. I'm glad it all happened because you can tell the Warrior team cares about the finished product. I won't be going anywhere else!

03

Planned Before Drop-Off

The selected material, coverage, care requirements, expected shop window and any applicable written product warranty are reviewed before work begins.

Useful Answers

Why These Credentials Matter

Why does manufacturer training matter if the material is already premium?

Premium film does not install itself. Surface preparation, product selection, application technique, seam and edge treatment, finishing and aftercare all influence the completed installation. Manufacturer training gives the installer product-specific methods and a stronger technical basis for those decisions.

How does this benefit a commercial vehicle or fleet?

Commercial graphics must remain legible, recognizable and consistent across vehicles with different shapes and working conditions. Professional wrap training supports a disciplined approach to preparation, material handling, alignment, contours, finishing and repeatability from one vehicle to the next.

Do you use the same material system for every project?

No. The appropriate system depends on the vehicle, surface condition, coverage, use, exposure, desired finish and project objective. Warrior's KC reviews those factors before recommending a film or coating.
